i hope you'll stop asking me why i chose SMU because i'm going to just list everything here..
firstly, YES i've been accepted into all the 3 unis..but i HAVE to make a choice..
not going into the other 2 unis cuz i know where i stand in this cohort...i'm soOoo not going to pit myself with sOooO many other people who are SMARTer than me..COME ON!
& i didn't pay $118 bucks for nothing...I sat for the SAT and I've gotten my results...its been sent to SMU and I'm going to use that to appeal into business...heh heh...(:
even if they don't accept me into the course that i want, i'll still remain in that uni..not because my sis graduated from there and has been psycho~ing me to go there..but because i've experienced the people there myself...
& i wouldn't have to bid for my major cuz there are only 3 to choose from even if i stay in social science...the 3?? psychology, political science and sociology...its not a variety..but it gives me the confident of getting the major that i want to specialise in...
you may say NTU's courses are also based on their majors already..but hey excuse me...i was give econs in NTU...& i don't wanna take that cuz i've spoken to experienced people and they said its a really dry topic...its either you can do or you can't...so i'm going to give up my place...
needless to say, everyone knows that you have to bid for your major in NUS arts and social science..competing against 700 over people for the major that i want is a NO WAY for me...there's no assurance that i'll get what i want...who knows...maybe many people are eyeing at doing psychology and i wouldn't get a chance to study it...in the end, i'd be thrown into some rubbish courses that will never do me any good...
the less important reason?? the distance..hehe..but that's nothing to me lar..
i wouldn't get to experience hostel life i know...but hmm..there's always something that you'll have to forgo if you want it big in life...
*congrats to my angel who's gotten into NUS(: hmm...i hope its the course that you've wanted lar...but its really *phew..a sigh of relief yar??
